Outside the Box: Reimagined

A Night of Art, Experience & Connection

Outside the Box: Reimagined brought our community together for an inspiring celebration of creativity, connection, and bold artistic expression.

The event began with a free public Preview Exhibition and Artist Reception, welcoming guests to explore a diverse collection of works and meet the talented artists behind them. The excitement carried into the Gala Dinner & Live Auction—an unforgettable evening filled with energy, generosity, and shared appreciation for the arts.

With the help of charismatic auctioneer Freddie Silveria, the live and silent auctions came alive, sparking enthusiastic bidding and creating a vibrant, dynamic atmosphere.

This year’s event was guided by an exceptional panel of jurors, including:

  • Jenny Darlington-Person, Executive Director of the Arts Council of Placer County
  • Deanna Marsh, glass and metal artist and principal of Sculptures Interpreting the Natural Forces of Change
  • Gavin Ferguson, host of The Wake Up Call on 106.5 The End

Gala guests also had the opportunity to bid on truly one-of-a-kind experiences, including:

Private Paella Dinner for 14
An intimate, in-home Spanish dining experience prepared by Paellas by Rosa—bringing people together over a meal designed for celebration and connection.

Stargaard Art Studios Immersive Experience
A rare invitation to step inside a working artist’s world. Hosted by Jay Stargaard, Placer Artists Tour artist, guests to explore painting, sculpture, and metalwork studios set among oak trees with sweeping Sierra Nevada views—an experience designed to spark creativity and wonder.

Bronze Casting Foundry Experience
At Keeble Metal Works in Auburn, guests went beyond observation—participating in the bronze casting process and revealing a finished piece firsthand while enjoying drinks and light fare.

Multi Course Luxurious Dinner

Donated by Shane Lillard, owner of Mr Sexy Foods, and amazing caterer of Outside the Box: Reimagined 2026.

More than just an evening event, Outside the Box: Reimagined was a celebration of imagination in action—bringing together artists, collectors, and supporters to champion creativity and community impact.Bottom of Form
